Jane is an experienced tutor and therapeutic counsellor in the UK and has studied with the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB). She is a native English speaker. Her background is in teaching art and design to students from all over the world and includes working with physically and mentally challenged adults on a therapeutic and educational level. Jane has taught both in a college setting and on a one to one basis. Former students have benefitted from her teaching in learning and improving skills that have opened up new careers for them. During this teaching, students also improved their command of English just by talking with her during lessons. Now Jane concentrates all of her tutoring in teaching English as a second language as she has the necessary skills and qualifications to mentor and teach to a high standard. Jane is currently studying with the TEFL Academy in London, UK and is very excited about developing her skills further in this area of teaching. Her approach is very practical, patient and kind but with determination with the aim of helping each student individually to find their strengths and weaknesses with a focus on reaching their full potential and goals such as developing good conversational, writing and listening skills. Jane has travelled extensively but always finds time for a good book!
